Do you believe in magic?

Afternoon guys......

so this is my newest make of the day..... I decided to try doing some designs in box frames, would love to know what you think of this first one........

Here is how I created it......

I firstly created the centre image using the hunkydory dots to diamonds set, I chose this design and used two lavinia stamps using the do you believe in magic phrase and the fairy. Then using the ink dusters I brushed ink from ink pads around the edges of the page and also around the mount in the frame to make it all match. 

Next I added more gems around the edge of the picture and placed the image and the mount inside the frame. finally I added some ribbon to the corner of the frame using double sided tape.

And now we have the final article, as pictured above.

New facebook page

Good afternoon,

Been a little while again hasn't it? well my sad news is that I lost my mum a few weeks back.....was the hardest thing I think I will ever experience but if its taught me one thing......not to put anything off until tomorrow as you dont know the time you have.
For so long ive wanted to show my work off on facebook and youtube etc but ive been to afraid of what people think to have the guts to do it,.........now I have took a different thaught on it, if I post work up and get feedback whether its good or bad it will help me to grow wont it?

New makes!!

Evening everyone.

Ive been playing with all the bits I bought in Birmingham yesterday, here are two makes I did.

This first card I made with the inkylicious splatter circle. I added various colour inks and sprayed water onto it to blend it all together before stamping it onto the paper. I then added the sentiment and butterflies and embossed them in white. I layered the image onto pink paper and added pearls into the various corners. 

This next card I made the heart on parchment using the parchment in the groovi at clarity stamps starter set. I used a heart stamp and embossing folder from a magazine I had as a free gift, I stamped and embossed the heart in white then embossed the blue card with the embossing folder. i added some colour and backed onto flowered paper and added stones and a bow.

NEC birmingham

Hi guys. I've been to the NEC today to the creative craft show. My goodness it was absolutely amazing!!! I have picked up some really amazing things and learnt some new techniques and I cannot wait to give them a go.

Seen Barbara grey on hochanda showing off the new stamps by clarity stamps https://clarity stamp.com which are gorgeous and I had to have them. Also got shown parchment skills by her too which I have to try.
I have also seen a new brand to me called inkylicious www.inkylicious.co.uk Have a look at them too there stamps are amazing and the demonstrator was amazing.
I will update with all my makes as I do them....hopefully starting tomorrow.

Hi everyone,

Its been a very long while since I posted here. I haven't managed to do any crafting for a long time but now I have started the happy road back to crafting.

Today ive been doing a colouring class by www.kitandclowder.com. This class is linked through you tube if you search for kit and clowder the class is called colouring with copic and alcohol markers.

The video uses copic markers, spectrum noir markers, promarkers and a number of other brands, alyce has broken down the markers for the different brands underneath the link for the you tube video so you can use her colour combination or use your own if you are confident with the markers and blends.

I followed the video and I would love to know what you guys think of my attempt at colouring this image, any feedback I would be very grateful for as I am new to colouring with alcohol markers. 

I am much happier with the hair on my second practice image but I like the different clothing combinations on both outfits.

hi guys so im back. its been a while i realise since i was last on here, ive been moving house and boy has it been a tough few months. im sort of sorted now and getting myself back into my cards finally.

so heres a few ive done hope you enjoy

decided on a bit of decoupage this time rather than my usual digital stamps and i really like how these have turned out.

crafty box no.2

hi everyone again. so i have recieved my latest paperhaul box which you can find at craftycreatives.com. this months theme is all birdy themed and i love all the pieces in here especially the peacock paper which i cannot wait to use in my card making. also in the box there  are some little note cards, some stickers, some postcards and two cards.

i love this box i think the quality of the things are great and its well worth a look.

they also do a bead box and a general craft box too so go on over and have a look.
